Our delightful selection of Themed Tours and Workshops at Molino di Bordone, are run from our elegant 17th Century Tuscan Farmhouse just minutes from the beautiful Etruscan walled town of Cortona. The setting is completely private with a surrounding landscaped garden of roses and poppies, lavender and rosemary, horse-chestnuts and cypresses, olive groves and sun-flower fields.
Workshops involving Food & Wine, Language & Culture, Art & History Tours are held in our newly restored Casa Fontanella where all the activities take place with tutors and chefs in an informal and comfortable atmosphere. Culinary events use our professionally fitted demonstration kitchen, while Lectures, Study and Discussions take place in the adjacent conference-lecture room. Excursions are accompanied by experienced guides and at the end of each day, participants return to enjoy relaxation time and dining al fresco.

Our itineraries also include elements of other complementary activities. For example, should you decide to join a gourmet week, you can also expect to learn some new Italian phrases, visit well known historical centres and enjoy a musical evening. Alternatively, on an art and history week you will be introduced to the art of Italian cooking, taste extra virgin olive oil and cover some relevant Italian vocabulary. And, if you choose to study Italian you will also have the opportunity to visit a famous vineyard, cook a meal, taste wine, attend a concert and go on local historic excursions. You pick your focus and we offer you the perfect blend.
Our guests stay in beautifully furnished & decorated twin or double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms at Molino di Bordone. Our farmhouse is a historic building dating from the 1650’s and of typical Tuscan style with wooden beams, terracotta floors, marble-tiled bathrooms, large living areas, outside swimming pool and private patios for quiet contemplation.
Food and Wine: Breakfasts are buffet style; lunches are informal - picnic feasts, packed lunches or trattoria style meals; evening meals are in restaurants or prepared in our Tuscan Country kitchen - seasonal menus carefully chosen with local chefs. With these we serve mineral water and the wines of the region resulting in an authentic taste for you to savor.
Transport: We travel in our own very comfortable 12-seater minibus, transporting you comfortably and safely from place to place.
