Il Molinello: sleeps 2-4
A lovely vacation home for 2 people or a family of 4. Step into the charming and spacious sitting room converted from the Old Flour Mill with the original millstone. Enjoy all the comforts of home in the fully fitted kitchen so you can try out your Tuscan cooking skills or plan an evening barbecue celebration. The large master bedroom has French windows leading to the private garden facing the rising sun and a window facing west onto the front terrace, so you can enjoy sun or shade all day long as you prefer. The marble-tiled bathroom has both bath and shower facilities plus a washing machine for your laundry. Get away from it all, enjoy a romantic holiday or relax with your family. You might wish to stay forever!
Enjoy relaxing by the pool, strolling in the gardens, walking in the hills or along the river that once worked the mill. Tramp among sunflowers, explore the olive grove, climb the tower for panoramic views or simply sip wine while watching the sun set over the russet hills. The property is quite simply unforgettable; a precious, historic jewel not to be missed.
Guests are welcome to help themselves to fresh produce from the organic vegetable garden, to apples, cherries, apricots and plums from the orchard and there are abundances of sage, thyme and rosemary for flavouring gourmet recipes.
Families with children can enjoy complete safety in the 2 acre garden which is completely secluded with a wide array of entertainments for all ages: swimming, croquet, badminton, trampoline, swings & climbing frame. We also have a few delightful petting animals (dogs, cats, a donkey and a goat) in the extensive farmland behind.
Thermal Spas for the winter months: soak and relax at the hot baths or have a therapeutic massage in Rapolano Terme, Bagno Vignoni or Chianciano Terme just a short distance away
